At the entrance to Boka Kotorska, officially one of the most beautiful bays in the world, located at the foot of the slopes of Orjen, lies the town of Herceg Novi, a popular destination for both native Montenegrins and overseas visitors. In addition, the nearby Luštica peninsula has some of the finest beaches in Montenegro – easily accessible by a short (and very picturesque) boat ride across Kotor Bay.
